Dear Mr. Chatto—

For the first time in many years I am on the Highway,emendation i.e., the platform, giving readings from Huck Finnemendation &emendation other of my books, & am having a jolly good time. Tell me, shall I come over & try it in London in the Spring or Summer in a small hall somewhere in the West End?emendation I am tempted to venture it. Would I drawemendation do you think? Won’t you ask some of the knowing ones & drop me a line? Would the people come to hear me?
