Dear Sir: The sketch is accurate. The items proper for addition, I believe, are these:


His later books, & dates of publication, are as follows: “The Gilded Age,” (by Mark Twain & Charles Dudley Warner), 1873; “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,[] 1876; “Sketches,” 1877; “A Tramp Abroad,” 1880. The six books have sold, in the aggregate, in the United States, nearly half a million copies.


That is all I think of. I have a book in press, but as it will not be out till November, I could not legitimately crowd it into the list.
