Dear Dan—

I want that little sixty-dollar safe we were talking about. Forgot to mention it when I wrote to-day.

Monday—P. S. Good; you get hold of the billiard bosses & pull strong for reserved seats; say you & I are lame & near-sighted.

Am very glad to hear of Sneider’s last success. I got the brass plate, & it is beautiful—shall be glad to get some new designs of the same sort. My idea, now, by advice of Mrs. Clemens, is to sheathe our library walls & ceiling with the elegant brass plates, instead of the hall.

Yrs Ever
Sam.
